Coeburn Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade
The town Christmas tree lighting ceremony will be Thursday, December 1st at 6:30 pm at the Robert Hale Ampitheatre. Performances by the Center Stage Cloggers will begin at 5:30pm prior to the lighting. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
The theme for 2011 is 'In the Christmas Spirit.' To pre-register for the parade, please call 276-395-3323.

The parade route has been changed this year to create a safer environment for entrants and workers. Lineup will begin at 5:00 p.m. at John McKilgore Park (swimming pool, track, baseball stadium area) on Wise Mountain Road. The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will travel down Wise Mountain Road a short distance, then bear right on Laurel Avenue and proceed to the traffic light. The parade will take a left at the light and proceed down Front Street to Grand Avenue.
